To draw on the famous section in Ecclesiastes, "To everything there is a season... A time to be quiet and a time to speak." I think we can share or not share our gifts, and which of these options is right will depend on us following our intuition rather than intellectualizing. When I am able to do that I will let you know! As always, I love your writing.

My writer’s soul would be a little less empty without you out in the world, sharing your own gifts and experiences, knowledge, and self with us. Thank you for doing so. It would be such a sad and un-colored world without art - “Farenheit 451” is one of my favorite books of all time - imagine if Ray Bradburry was like, eh, fuck it, no one will read it anyway. Or no Stephen King to upend the publishing world and the horror/thriller genre as a whole? Or no Warhol, Monet, Buddha...To be able to share our creations is a gift. For others to accept, or even like them, is no on us. Once our work is released, it belongs to something much larger than us. That’s the scariest part for me.

I really enjoy all the Buddhism info, I’m so intrigued with it all. And you’ve no idea how talented a writer you are, Renee. <3

We all ask these questions especially an artist when we give to our creative self. Some lose their creativity altogether because they need to provide with money a family needs and individual needs. Sharing our live experiences is almost a necessity no matter in which area you go toward and different times in life require different paths. Exploration is key. I always think of many of our favorite painters who were never known until their passing. It's life and it is a mystery. Your thoughts are so important and sharing them is a gift.
